The following pictures were taken one
day after the crash date by a local Bedford resident. The original
pictures are black and white 4.25 x3.0 inches. The remains of a light
snow can be seen on some of the wreckage, and in the background trees
sheared off. You might notice the position of the elevator in the
first two pictures. It seems to be locked in the extreme up position,
suggesting that the pilot tried to gain altitude prior to
impact.
